GBN offers events on QM topics both for GBN biobanks and for external participants. These include webinars, workshops and auditor mentoring.

Webinars and workshops

Experts share their knowledge on specific topics in webinars and workshops. The GBN QM team organises and leads these events. GBN publishes topics and registration information in its event calendar.

Auditor mentoring and training

Since 2018, GBN has trained a total of 41 experts from the GBN community (plus four from various DZGs and the NAKO) as auditors in cooperation with TÜV Süd. The training courses comprise a three-day standards-specific part and a subject-specific part with biobanking experts. The training concludes with an online test and a "witness audit", which test technical and standards-specific expertise.
