Establishment of the NUM Clinical Epidemiology and Study Platform (NUKLEUS)
NUKLEUS built on existing NAPKON structures and took over:

Matrix organisation of Research Infrastructures (FIS)
Use of the advisory and support units for all NUM FIS as cross-cutting units within the framework of the NUM Methods & Biosamples Hub (NUM-MB)
The establishment of the NUM-MB is based on the core infrastructure of NUKLEUS 2.0 and comprises:
- Methods Hub (Epidemiology Core (ECU) and Ethics Coordination (EC))
- Biobanking Hub ( Biobanking Core (BCU))
