Collaboration with NUM-MB:

The BCU, in collaboration with the NUKLEUS-LIMS team, provides advice on all aspects of data integration (documentation of all biosample data / data feedback from biosample analyses)

The BCU works in partnership with the NUKLEUS Data Transfer Centre on the release of data for projects involving data and biosamples.

The BCU works closely with the GBN and coordinates with it on quality measures (audits, interlaboratory tests), protocols and types of biological samples, as well as other aspects relating to biobanks.

The BCU works closely with the BPD and coordinates with the BPD on IT concepts, quality measures (audits, interlaboratory tests), protocols, omics data, collaboration with industry, cross-sectoral aspects, continuing professional development and types of biological samples, as well as other biobank-related matters.

The BCU works closely with SN and supports all matters relating to biosamples across various projects, such as SNID, SN CritCare and SN Stroke.

ECU’s eVeDa experts advise researchers on how to apply for and utilise data from outside the NUM to answer their specific research questions. These eVeDa are integrated into the NUM via the Data Reception and Processing Centre (DAAeD) in NUKLEUS.
