The NUM platform for imaging data offers:

• a collaborative environment for researchers to work together easily,
• a clear legal framework to ensure that all projects run securely and in compliance with data protection regulations,
• and practical tools that make it much easier to plan, launch and conduct studies.

RACOON is growing as an open ecosystem: new methods and technologies can be flexibly interacted with and developed solutions can be used in other research projects - even outside RACOON.

This creates the basis for radiological institutes not only to efficiently implement their own projects, but also to participate more easily in interdisciplinary research projects in which image data is analysed together with other medical information.

The long-term goal: better collaboration, faster research results - and thus noticeable progress in patient care in Germany.
