The NUM Study Network (NUM SN) is establishing a Germany-wide infrastructure for rapid, multi-centre clinical trials, with a focus on common standards for the initiation of clinical and clinical-epidemiological trials, processes for project and process management, and contracts, embedded within the Network University Medicine (NUM). The aim is to create a sustainable, operational and practical infrastructure to accelerate clinical trials in Germany.
Your responsibilities will include:

NUM Coordination Office: Senior IT Administrator (m/f/d) IT Operations & Infrastructure
You will assume overall responsibility for the development and operation of the core IT infrastructure of the future Network of University Medicine NUM GmbH. You will develop and implement operational processes, security standards, role models, documentation and support procedures, and subsequently transition the systems to reliable day-to-day operation. The role combines conceptual development work with ongoing operational responsibility for systems and services. You will carry out key tasks hands-on yourself, involve external specialists where appropriate, and retain technical responsibility within the organisation.
Your responsibilities include:
- Setting up and administering the Microsoft 365 environment
- Operating Windows 11 end-user devices via Autopilot and Intune
- Responsibility for the technical user lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, as well as setting up and operating a ticket-based IT support system and maintaining comprehensive operational, asset, licence and configuration documentation
- Setting up and operating the network environment
- Managing conference and media technology
- Administration of Linux, cloud and hosting systems, domains, DNS, certificates and web services
- Implementation of IT security and contingency planning
- Technical management of external providers and internal collaboration
