Negotiator
The Negotiator is a communication platform for biobank managers and researchers to make and specify requests for human biospecimens and related data. The Negotiator greatly simplifies this process, in particular by enabling "negotiation" between multiple parties - for example, when a request is made to multiple biobanks. The Negotiator is a joint development of the German Cancer Research Centre Heidelberg (DKFZ) and the European infrastructure BBMRI-ERIC.
The Negotiator is linked to both the Sample Locator and the Directory: Biobank managers can register in the Negotiator as contact persons for both tools. Below you will find instructions on how to register as a biobank contact person as well as answers to frequently asked questions on using the Negotiator.
