Organoids, organ-on-chip and in-silico models are revolutionising biomedical and pharmaceutical research and ushering in a new era of experimentation. Organoids replicate the structure and function of human organs and provide a physiologically relevant platform for disease modelling and drug testing. Organ-on-chip systems replicate the microenvironment of human organs and provide dynamic conditions for drug evaluation. In-silico models based on computer simulations accelerate drug discovery by analysing complex biological processes. These advanced models improve research accuracy, efficiency and relevance to humans - reducing reliance on animal testing and driving progress in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
After the overwhelming success of the first edition, the 3R Centre Tübingen for In Vitro Models and Animal Alternatives at the University of Tübingen and the NMI Natural and Medical Sciences Institute in Reutlingen are pleased to host the second THE 3R LÄND Conference in the heart of THE LÄND, Tübingen, Germany.
This conference will bring together leading experts from academia, clinical research, industry, regulatory authorities and policy to explore the latest developments in the field.
Abstract submission is open until 14 November 2025 and more information can be found on the event website.
