German Congress for Laboratory Medicine 2026

Under the motto "Laboratory Medicine: Translating Science into Patient Care", the German Congress for Laboratory Medicine (DKLM) will take place in Hamburg from 30 September to 2 October 2026.

The congress combines top-class scientific lectures, practice-oriented workshops, networking and stimulating specialist discussions to create a diverse, interdisciplinary programme. It addresses key future topics in diagnostics and addresses new molecular methods, high-throughput technologies, digital developments such as AI and the integration of multidimensional data. It spans the spectrum from basic science to innovative approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of multifactorial diseases. At the same time, he sheds light on the importance of targeted quality management and increasing regulation in the healthcare sector - always with patient safety in mind.
