Technical support

Are you planning to implement the AKTIN-CDA interface in your system?

Please contact us at it-support@aktin.org.

We will be happy to provide you with further information.

To participate in the AKTIN Emergency Departments Register, a data warehouse must be set up in your emergency department. To do this, our AKTIN-DWH software must be installed on a server (which you must provide). The server (physical or virtual) should be located in the hospital's area of responsibility. The installation scripts run on an Ubuntu LTS. We recommend:

  • 2 cores, 16 GB RAM, 100 GB hard drive (minimum: 1 core, 8 GB RAM, 50 GB hard drive)
  • Operating system: Ubuntu Server 22.04 LTS, basic installation (no user interface)
  • Operating system language: English or German

Up-to-date information on the implementation of the AKTIN-CDA interface and the AKTIN data warehouse can be found on the Project IT website. A software package is available for download here, with which the AKTIN-CDA interfaces can be simulated. It also contains sample documents and a client application for sending the sample documents to the server.

The following entry points are available in the technical documentation

The information is aimed at system administrators who are responsible for setting up and maintaining the AKTIN Data Warehouse. It describes the procedure for a new installation, for the update and other optional configuration steps.

Checking the functionality of your AKTIN-DWH

Once the AKTIN infrastructure has been implemented, the functionality of the AKTIN-DWH can be checked. Please use the documentation sheet "Checking the functionality of the AKTIN-DWH" for this purpose. A Word version of this document is available on request from it-support@aktin.org
