As part of the "Promoting Acceptance" initiative, the Network of University Medicine (NUM) is working with other partners to raise awareness and acceptance of the use of health data in the context of the electronic patient record (ePA) and its potential for public health-oriented research.
To develop the accompanying dialogue campaign, a survey on data sharing is currently being conducted as part of the ePA rollout. It is aimed in particular at medical professionals and is intended to incorporate experiences and perspectives from research and healthcare. Your participation will help to ensure that the campaign is technically sound and practice-orientated. Thank you in advance for your support!
Below you will find the invitation to take part in the survey with further information:
Dear Sir or Madam
With the introduction of the electronic patient record (ePA), we - an initiative* of companies and associations - see a unique opportunity to get the public and the wider medical community excited about the potential of health data. In future, people with statutory health insurance will have the opportunity to voluntarily make their health data from the ePA available for research in the public interest.
For this reason, we are currently developing an overarching dialogue campaign entitled "Promoting acceptance". With this campaign, we want to inform doctors and patients about the topic of data sharing and raise awareness of the importance of health data research.
In order to develop the campaign in the best possible way, we would like to incorporate your expertise - because your personal experience in research or at the point of care will help us to strike the right note.
We would therefore like to invite you to take part in our online survey on the topic of "Data sharing in the course of the ePA rollout". Participation takes 5 to 10 minutes and is anonymous.
