CanTEN was submitted to the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS) - the central web portal of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for the submission, evaluation and monitoring of clinical trials of medicinal products in the EU - on 19 March 2026. It is currently under review (as of 11 May 2026).
The rollout of trial centre contracts via the Study Network Infectious Diseases (SNID) has begun. The first cooperation agreements between the NUKLEUS cooperation partners and the sponsor are currently being signed. The first Investigator Meeting of the CanTEN study also took place on 30 April 2026. Inclusion of the first patient (FPI) is currently planned for June 2026, subject to CTIS approval.
