Third NUM Connect Lunch on “Onboarding”

The NUM Connect Lunch series offers a space for informal exchange on administrative topics and practical experiences across the Network of University Medicine (NUM). It brings together administrative coordinators and PIs from the NUM and the NUM Study Network to share experiences, discuss challenges, and connect with colleagues from across the network.
The third NUM Connect Lunch will focus on the topic of “Onboarding”. Onboarding strategies for new colleagues within the NUM are diverse: from dedicated onboarding events and introductory documents to tutorials and other resources, there are many ways to ensure a smooth start and help new colleagues find their way around the NUM.
At the third NUM Connect Lunch, several examples of onboarding strategies from different NUM structures will be presented and discussed. The central question will be: How can good onboarding be achieved? The session will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, share practical approaches and discuss what makes onboarding successful.
