From Rules to Solutions: Patient-centred clinical research through innovation and AI
Clinical research is undergoing a period of profound regulatory and technological transformation. With the German Government’s ‘Pharmadialog’, European initiatives surrounding the Biotech Act, and cross-association platforms aimed at strengthening Germany as a location for clinical trials, innovative and patient-centred approaches are coming into focus more than ever before. The symposium offers cutting-edge insights into the implementation of ICH E6 (R3), regulatory developments and the perspectives of regulatory authorities, industry, clinical trial centres and patient representatives. Discover practical solutions for greater patient involvement and gain fascinating insights into how AI is being used in clinical research.
After the lunch break, there will be a panel discussion on the topic ‘StudienWirken, or not?’, dedicated to the corresponding initiative by the FUNKE Media Group. One of the five experts on this panel is Prof. Dr Janne Vehreschild, spokesperson for the NUM Study Network (NUM SN) and a member of the STUDIEN WIRKEN Advisory Board. His perspective is particularly fascinating: do we always need a new study to gain new insights – or are we still making far too little use of the data we already have?
