An invitation to all projects within the RACOON infrastructure
In consultation with the RACOON coordination team, we warmly invite you to the 1st RACOON Liver Symposium, which will take place in Leipzig.
Date: 4 November 2026
Time: 1 . 00 pm – 5.00 pm
Venue: Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Leipzig University Hospital
Dinner: from 6.00 pm, near the campus
The aim of the event is to provide a platform for projects working in the field of liver research and utilising the RACOON infrastructure to present their work and exchange experiences. In addition, other speakers not directly involved in the projects will provide expert insights on the topic.
Scientific programme
The detailed programme is currently still being finalised and will be announced shortly. Presentation slots of 20 minutes each (plus 10 minutes for discussion) are allocated to the participating projects. There are no restrictions on the content or format of the presentations; these may be organised as the presenters see fit.

Group dinner
Following the symposium, a group dinner will take place from 6.00 pm near the campus. Further details will follow shortly.
