RACOON will continue to be visible in 2026 with numerous face-to-face events, offering the community many opportunities for dialogue, networking and joint project development. The first event will be the NUM Convention on 21/22 January in Berlin, where RACOON will be represented as part of "NUM unplugged" on 21 January from 15:45-17:15. The RACOON Hackathon 2026 will follow at the beginning of February, taking place in Berlin from 4 to 6 February and once again offering space for creative solutions and technical innovations.
In March, RACOON is expected to be present again at ECR 2026, including a community dinner on 5 March (self-pay basis) and a planned RACOON meeting on 6 March. The RÖKO will then take place in Leipzig in May, before two central network meetings are scheduled for the summer: the RACOON Retreat in Essen on 9/10 June and the Autumn Retreat on 1-2 October in Tübingen.
The Technical Partner Retreat on 11/12 November at the DKFZ in Heidelberg will mark the end of the year - an important platform for the further development of the technical infrastructure in the network.
