In spring, there were two opportunities for the NUM Study Network and the Study Network Infectious Diseases to present themselves with exhibition stands.
The cluster conference of the networking initiative Cluster Medizin.NRW took place on 25 March 2026 in Düsseldorf under the motto "Cutting-edge medicine from NRW in Germany, Europe and the world". In addition to a keynote speech by Janne Vehreschild, spokesperson for the NUM Study Network, interested parties were able to find out more about the NUM Study Network at an integrated exhibition stand.
From 17 to 21 April, the coordination teams of the Study Network Infectious Diseases and the NUM Study Network hosted an exhibition stand at ESCMID Global in Munich. The specialist conference for infectious diseases and clinical microbiology was attended by an estimated 18,000 experts. Over the course of the five days of the conference, the stand attracted a large number of researchers, representatives of organisations and industry partners, who were provided with detailed information and advice by the two teams. This resulted in many new contacts, which may lead to new partnerships.
The presence at exhibitions is central to the visibility of the NUM Study Network and its specialist networks. In future, the networks will be increasingly represented with exhibition stands at important conferences in order to familiarise a national and international specialist audience with their offerings.
