RACOON Tech Partner Retreat at IKIM Essen 2026
Together with computer scientists, researchers and tech partners, the NUM Platform for Imaging Data (RACOON) discussed current developments, explored new perspectives for digital healthcare and provided valuable impetus for the future.
The Tech Partner Retreat takes place every year in Essen. The atmosphere at the IKIM (Institute for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine) provides the ideal setting for professional exchange, creative ideas and the joint development of forward-looking solutions. Alongside engaging technical discussions, the focus was above all on personal interaction. RACOON would like to thank all participants for the inspiring discussions and looks forward to the next steps we will take together and to seeing everyone again next year
RÖKO 2026
RACOON was also present at the German Röntgen Congress – RöKO 2026 – held in Leipzig in May. With a stand right in the foyer, the NUM platform provided insights into its current project work and invited numerous visitors to engage in discussion. In addition, RACOON organised its own session in which current developments, research approaches and perspectives for radiological networking were presented and discussed. The in-depth exchange with specialist attendees, partner institutions and other stakeholders in radiology once again demonstrated the high relevance of shared infrastructure and interdisciplinary collaboration. RACOON would like to thank the German Radiological Society for the invitation, the excellent organisation of the congress and the valuable opportunity for personal exchange within the radiology community.
