Biosamples from the National Pandemic Cohort Network (NAPKON) were comprehensively molecularly analysed under the leadership of the NUKLEUS Biosample Core. In addition to the proteome - i.e. the totality of all proteins that can be measured in a sample - transcriptome, genotyping and epigenetic data sets were also created.
So far, 18 research applications with over 25,000 molecular data sets have been supported. The proteome data is now also available with immediate effect. The Use & Access coordination unit is in charge of the process from data application to publication. NUKLEUS provides the data via the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in Greifswald. The transfer centre in Göttingen carries out the corresponding assignments to the patient data and issues them to the application team.
