On 11 August, the first patient was enrolled in the AMG RAPID_ELAPSE trial. RAPID_ELAPSE is investigating whether the drug bupropion helps to alleviate severe fatigue associated with post-COVID and improves the physical functioning of patients with post-COVID.
Thanks to the close and efficient collaboration between the Research Infrastructures NUM Methods & Biosamples Hub (NUM-MB) and NUKLEUS, the study was able to get off the ground very quickly. NUKLEUS is providing the technical infrastructure for this, whilst NUM-MB is offering the necessary methodological advice regarding the biological samples and the implementation of the study.
