As part of the BMBF-funded accompanying research project NUM-GUIDE (July 2023 to June 2025), the Chair of Information Management at the University of Göttingen, in coordination with the NUM Coordination Office, investigated how sustainable, decentralised governance structures can be designed.
The focus was on developing a flexible, evidence-based governance framework that provides a transparent, efficient and future-proof basis for decision-making and management processes in the NUM. Based on the findings of interviews and workshops with stakeholders, practical tools and training materials were developed to support implementation. For example, guidelines on key performance indicator systems and communities of experts were created.
NUM-GUIDE thus provides specific recommendations and tools to make cooperation and management in NUM more efficient, transparent and sustainable in the long term.
