The central interdisciplinary biospecimen bank of the Medical Faculty of the Technical University of Munich and the University Hospital rechts der Isar (iBioTUM) is an interdisciplinary intersectoral central biobank of the Medical Faculty and the University Hospital rechts der Isar. As a central service (General Service), iBioTUM is an integral part of the research infrastructure at the Munich site. With standardised processes for the collection and provision of tissue and liquid samples, iBioTUM supports the biomedical research of the Medical Faculty and the entire TUM, as well as research projects in Munich, in Bavaria and in Germany and abroad.
Accreditation and certification
Accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020, in co-operation with the Institute of Pathology.
